What is a Saint Louis, MO accent? is it Southern?
You know how in American movies where main characters will just have NO accent? Like, take Jennifer Aniston or something in Couples Retreat, for example (just naming a random movie). People in the cities of Missouri will talk normally like that, with no particular stereotypical accent. However, as you go out into the country-like, smaller towns of Missouri, they tend to have a Southern draw. I've heard people say "over dere (over there)" and "hun'in (hunting), moun'in (mountain), etc.". It's not nearly as accented as a full Southern accent though.
