Webpage cannot be found, DNS lookup failed?

I erroneously uninstalled some files thinking they were useless and only taking up space. To my dismay they are from from useless. As it turned out, I deleted something that helps me connect to the internet because my internet access reads "local only." What can I reinstall to get it working again?
